Program

'...dreaming, breathing in brightness...' is a saxophone quartet that quietly emerges from nothing.

Its sonic world is built on how the sun can sear our skin. How it can become so bright that even when we close our eyes we can still see it.

The work plays with the many different timbral possibilities offered by the saxophone, especially distortion.
